Ticket Return Policy

Effective Date: 01.01.2025

Thank you for purchasing tickets for events organized by Monde des Arts a.s.b.l.. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following return and refund policy:
 

1. General Terms

  • Tickets purchased are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless explicitly stated otherwise in this policy or as required by law.

  • All ticket sales are final once the purchase is confirmed and payment is processed.
     

2. Exceptions for Refunds

Refunds or exchanges will only be granted under the following circumstances:

  • Event Cancellation: If Monde des Arts a.s.b.l. cancels the event, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price (excluding service fees, where applicable).

  • Event Rescheduling: If the event is rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may request a refund within 14 days of the announcement of the new date.

  • Significant Program Change: If there is a significant change in the advertised program, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refund requests for the above exceptions must be submitted within 14 days of the event cancellation, rescheduling, or significant program change announcement.
 

3. Resale or Transfer of Tickets

Tickets purchased for events organized by Monde des Arts a.s.b.l. may be freely resold or transferred without restriction. The original purchaser is responsible for providing the new ticket holder with all necessary details and ensuring the transfer complies with the event’s entry requirements.

Monde des Arts a.s.b.l. is not liable for any disputes arising from private ticket resales or transfers.
 

4. No Refunds for Personal Reasons

No refunds will be granted for personal reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Changes in personal circumstances

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Illness, unless the illness qualifies under extraordinary conditions explicitly protected by Luxembourg consumer laws.
     

5. No-Show Clause

If a ticket holder fails to attend the event (no-show), the ticket price will not be reimbursed or refunded under any circumstances. No-show tickets cannot be exchanged for future events.
 

6. Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or strikes), Monde des Arts a.s.b.l. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event without obligation for a refund unless required by law. In such cases, tickets may be refunded or exchanged at the sole discretion of Monde des Arts a.s.b.l..
 

7. Contact for Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@mondedesarts.lu and must include:

  • Full name of the ticket purchaser

  • Event name and date

  • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or confirmation email)

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of approval.
 

8. Additional Terms

  • This policy is governed by the laws of Luxembourg.

  • Any disputes arising from ticket purchases shall be resolved under Luxembourg jurisdiction.
